Today's site showcases 10 people that give men a bad name. These guys are the type where you can just look at them and know that they are indeed a douchebag. Seriously I am not sure which one is more rediculous from the 10 popped collars, the old man who does not want to admit he is old, or the guys who fake tan so much they look like oompa loompas. Check it out at big stupid idiot dot com and let me know if there has ever been someone that you just wanted to tell " dude, you are not as cool as you think you are."

Chance
Here is a video I found that I have seen a few times before but I am always enchanted by it. The video is called Chance and it shows some of the most amazing real life events you will have ever seen. Amazing sports moments like a basketball sunk from the other side of the court, or a soccer player who gets not one, not two, not even three but four chances at a goal. It's not long so watch it and let me know what your reactions are to it.
Have you ever had a moment in your life that is totally unbelievable and no one would believe you unless you had video footage of it happening?

Do you profile?
Today's link is an interesting one. It's unique in that you are shown a offense at the top such as " Who was charged with Disorderly Conduct? " and then shown 5 pictures. Could you spot by face alone who committed the offense? I must admit that I run hot and cold on this. Recently I ran 40% when just running 10 scenarios but other times I might do something closer to 10%. Do you profile certain people or do sites like this increase profiling? Try it out at
pick the perp and let me know how you did. What did you think about this site and what are your thoughts on profiling?

Bad Fads
Sorry there was not a link yesterday. We had bad storms and it was too dangerous to be on the computer. My apologies. Now onto today's post.
Bad Fads...Every generation has them. It can be music, clothes, collectibles but we are all guilty of them. Even though they are bad though you can sometimes look back on them with fondness. Think of Cabbage patch dolls, beanie babies, or Lava Lamps. Sure they are a bad fad but it does not neccesarily tarnish your view of that object. I still love my lava lamp and use it as often as I can. IT'S GREAT! The Bad Fads Museum has collected this all into one place and will allow you to laugh, cry, or become nostalgic for the bad fads of all generations. It's great and fun to just search through. Check it out!
What was your favorite or least favorite bad fad?

The customer is alwasy right, except when their not.
I have been reading this site since it was just 7 pages long because it always makes me laugh. It tells the stories of crazy customers through the eyes of customer service agents. It's always amazing how crazy some people are and the things that happen in this mixed up world we live in. It shows scams, liars, and outright craziness. If you have ever worked a job that involved dealing with customers then you can definitely relate to the stories on this site. Not Always Right is a fun site to read and will make you wonder what is wrong with people.
What's the craziest customer you have ever dealt with?

You either have it or hate it...
At this point everyone reading this is aware of the Iphone and you either love it or hate it. It is a sleek cool phone but I do tire of their owners always showing what crazy app they recently downloaded. I usually could care less. At the same time I must admit I am a bit jealous because I want one. I just don't have the funds or the will to switch to ATT. I suppose though you are wondering where this is leading and what the link of the day is though huh? Well I came across this video that paradys the Iphone. Check it out and then let me know, what do you think of the Iphone?

not another blog!
Okay yes it is another blog but a good one that is not xanga related. I read this site often and it helps me in understanding which companies offer great customer service, and which ones drop the ball. It keeps me informed on ways to reduce or stay out of debt and how to get through the phone tree of some companies so I reach the top and have my voice heard. It is The Consumerist and I recommend you check it out. This site will help you become a more informed shopper and give you a place to talk about good or bad customer service you have experienced so that others can be made aware. This is a great site and that is why it is my site for the day. Read through it and let me know what you think. What do you like or not like about this blog?

If you were an FDA approved drug, what would your possible side effects include?
Mine would be moodiness. Sometimes I am totally lethargic, other times manic. Sometimes I cannot focus and other times hyperfocus on one thing. I am truly all over the place and yet somehow manage to keep it all together for my wife, dog, and career. It's amazing what you can do when you really put your mind to it.
I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

The true story of Pac-Man
Did you ever think about the game Pacman and wonder what the heck that game developer was thinking? A yellow blob goes around popping pills and whenever he eats magical fruit the ghosts that are chasing him around become edible. I dare you to explain it any better than that because no matter how you put it pacman is weird. Could it be he was an early raver? He is in a dark room listening to electronic music and taking pills.
The reason I began to think about this is because of today's site of the day. It's a simple picture that really sums up my rant above nicely. Something funny that makes you look at something seemingly inane in a different way is all.

What if you could trade stock in movies?
I found this site when I was in high school and then re-found it again in college. At HSX you are given a fake 2 million to start with and then get to grow it from there. It's just like the stock market but entertainment related. You can buy stocks, bonds, funds, and derivatives. I have grown my portfolio from the 2 million I started with to 31 1/2 million dollars ( if only it was real now ) and am nearly ranked in the top 95%. Pretty impressive sure but anybody can do it and it can be fun. It's also a great way to teach tweens the fundamentals of the stock market. Check it out and let me know what you think.
